Rainbow Trout are an iconic fish that represent the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I caught my first fish in the high sierra mountain lakes as a kid with my Dad. California is the global birthplace of this fish and has contributed to conservation and watershed management. Also they are beautiful and I love to carve them!

I made this print as a series of 2. This piece can be hung as a diptych as a trout pair or individually. This can be ordered with a simple walnut frame, with wooden magnetic hangers or unframed (print only). This is an edition of 50, all prints signed and dated. Each print is 10 × 12 inches, frames are 11 ×14 inches.

Handmade in Northern California.
